An island fortress in the water off Helsinki. Used in various wars it was even shelled during WW2. After the Finnish civil war it was used as a concentration camp for red sympathisers and thousands died. They neglect to mention this fact to tourists and at the time we wondered what the strange dank little holes were used for that we wandered through.
